A rainy day and what I thought was a creative block day turned out a productive one. Some of these cards made from some of my larger imperfect recycled lino cut prints are on their way to help support the World Society for the Protection of Animals.(if accepted) The Printmaking Sisters Robin Ezra & Annie Day have been conducting an International Print Exchange called "Animalia" and all proceeds go to the WSPA. The exhibition of prints will be on Exhibition in Bowral NSW, then Italy next year and America I believe. Check out the fantastic array of animal prints on www.annieday.com.au "Animalia Catalogue" I have sent this set of cards hopefully to be sold to help raise extra funds at the exhibition. The prints would have been used to print test prints on the back & then discarded. This is a much better use and the lino cut fragment prints work well on card format.

Wow, these small cards are gems, they look stunning as a group and invite investigation that does not disappoint. And all for a good cause, what a great idea. John says wow! too. 9/19/2013 03:52:17 pm

Recycling prints look very fascinating. The concept is highly interesting and looking at the pictures I think I am going to print them. 9/25/2013 08:57:47 pm
