THE NUDE

I have a great love of life drawing. I believe that I was very fortunate to study art at the Ballarat School of Mines & industry Art Department. My life drawing classes were taken by a wonderful life drawing teacher, Mr Geoffrey Mainwarring a well respected War II artist . He taught me how to look at the human body and to           co-ordinate my eye, brain and hand to depict proportion, stance and form. Life drawing is such an important discipline for an artist no matter what area the artist pursues.
