Above: The hand made printed pages are sewn together. The covers are constructed from very textured, heavy papers and the printed pages within are Italian Fabriano printing paper and light printed tissue with embedded natural fibres. The printed surfaces use a monotype technique transferred from clear plastic sheets that have been patterned with textured surface transfers. The many and varied feathers I have collected are inked up and printed through the press over the printed backgrounds or just on the "Bianco" paper.

I recycle & transform boxes by covering them in textured papers, sculpture medium and collage elements.I seal them with Shellac and rub black ink into the textured surface and then rub back. (Almost as you rub back an Intaglio print) The boxes contain small scale prints...
